🛒 Ingredients
For the chops:
4 bone-in or boneless pork chops (about 1 inch thick)
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp butter
For the honey garlic glaze:
4 cloves garlic, minced
⅓ cup honey
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp apple cider vinegar (or lemon juice)
¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional for a little kick)
To garnish:
Fresh parsley, chopped
Lemon wedges
👩🏻🍳 Directions
Prep & season:
Pat pork chops dry with paper towels. Season both sides generously with salt and pepper.Sear to perfection:
Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once sizzling, add pork chops and sear 3–4 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.Make the glaze:
In the same pan, reduce heat to medium. Add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds, just until fragrant. Stir in honey, soy sauce, and apple cider vinegar. Simmer 1–2 minutes until slightly thickened.Coat the chops:
Return pork chops to the pan, spooning the glaze over each side. Cook another 2–3 minutes, letting the sauce bubble and caramelize. The internal temperature should reach 145°F (63°C).Rest & serve:
Let chops rest for 5 minutes before serving. Drizzle with extra glaze, sprinkle with parsley, and add a squeeze of lemon.
❤️ Sunday Tip
For an extra-thick, glossy glaze, whisk 1 tsp cornstarch + 1 tbsp water and stir it into the sauce at the end. It’ll cling beautifully to each juicy bite.
